Summary

Biography

Sophomore (2022-23): Earned three victories as the primary #1 singles throughout the season. First #1 singles victory was on February 25th against Lafayette, 6-2, 6-3. Perez picked up wins in #1 singles against Merrimack on March 17th and Stonehill on March 26th. Perez and teammate Odeda Arazza won eight matches in doubles competition, tied for most on the team with Tejasvi Mehra and Omar Loutfy. Perez and Arazza's #2 doubles win percentage was the third best in the conference at .500%.

Freshman (2021-22): Saw time as the #2 and #3 singles player with two victories. Saw time as the #1, #2, #3 doubles players with four victories and one victory as a member of the #1 doubles pairing.

Before Wagner: Attended New Little College in Santiago, Chile, where he was a four-year member of the tennis program. In 2016, he was the winner of the Algarrobo Tournament at the U-16 level. In 2017, he claimed the Scots Spring Open U-16, the Indian Spring Tennis U-16 and was a finalist in the T.L.C Summer Championship U-18. In 2019, he won the U-18 UTR Tournament. He is the son of Gianina Cespedes and Rodrigo Perez. Has three siblings, Daniela, Javiera, and Maximiliano. Perez plans on pursuing a degree in Business Management at Wagner.
