STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wagner head women's soccer coach
Fred King has announced the addition of
Elliot McPhelim as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026 season.
McPhelim arrives on Grymes Hill after spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach for MAAC member Saint Peter's Peacocks, contributing to strategic planning and team training.
Prior to his time in Jersey City, McPhelim served as an assistant coach at Bloomfield College, helping design individualized training programs while assisting with opponent scouting and match preparation.
McPhelim currently serves as the Zone 1 Director for SFL Club in Roseland, New Jersey, where he has led three teams in the Elite Development Program (EDP) while overseeing more than 200 players and 10 staff members.
Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, McPhelim earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland, where he played collegiate soccer at Scotland's highest university level.
McPhelim holds a U.S. Soccer B Coaching License, a Scottish Football Association Level 3 Badge, and United Soccer Coaches Level 2 diplomas in Goalkeeping and Futsal.
The 2026 Wagner women's soccer schedule and roster will be announced in the coming months.
