BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Wagner freshman Noah Grant has been named NEC Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week after a strong performance at the Penn Relays.
This is the third time in the 2025-2026 indoor and outdoor seasons that Grant has collected at least a share of both awards in the same week.
Grant was versatile for the Seahawks, running a 10.37-second 100m heat and ultimately finishing 14th in the 100m compiled results. He was four spots and just 0.05 seconds off qualifying for the final.
Running a leg of Wagner's 4x100 relay preliminary, Grant and the Seahawks logged a 40.79 time to qualify for the final, where they ran a 41.02-second time. The freshman also ran a leg of the 4x400 relay, finishing seventh in their heat with a 3:18.73 time.
