Track & Field Posts Five Top-Ten Finishes in Weekend at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Wagner took top-ten finishes in five events at the Penn Relays over the weekend in what will be the team's final meet before the 2026 NEC Outdoor Championships.

In the men's 4x100 relay heats, senior Alex Taddeo, junior Jack Mason, senior Shawn Keegan and freshman Noah Grant clocked in at 40.79 seconds to automatically qualify for the final then ultimately placed third with a 41.02-second time. The four combined for Wagner's fastest 4x100 time this season. In the 100m dash heats, Grant logged a 10.37-second time. Grant ultimately finished 14th in the event, four spots and just 0.05 seconds off qualifying for the final.

The women's 4x100 team, composed of sophomore Nicolina Siracusa, sophomore Christine Manneh, freshman Jasmine Burney and junior June Fernandez, finished sixth in the compiled results, taking second place in heat two with a 47.90-second time that qualified them for the final.

Wagner's men's 4x200 team, made up of Taddeo, junior Jonathan Carman, senior Dante Rodney and freshman Ersell McCullen, ran a 1:26.97 time in heat one then finished tenth once the full results were compiled.

The men's 4x400 relay with Carman, freshman Chase Rogers, Grant and Rodney, finished in 3:18.73 to finish seventh in their heat. The men's sprint medley relay team — with McCullen, junior Michael Seawright, sophomore David Akinola and junior Nigel Boboli — logged a 3:34.06 time to finish sixth in their heat and 19th overall in the combined results.

In men's long jump, junior Khalid Brown posted a 7.03m jump on his first attempt of the flight to finish seventh, then sophomore Ty Lawless was just behind Brown with a 6.99m jump that had him finishing ninth.

Senior Dario Sina de la Fuente finished seventh in the men's javelin throw final, posting a 63.40m mark on his fourth attempt of the day. Competing in the hammer throw championship, senior Christopher Milillo finished ninth with a 62.37m throw on his first attempt. Milillo was within one meter of sixth place.

Next up, the Seahawks will now head to New Britain, Connecticut for the 2026 NEC Outdoor Championships, beginning Saturday, May 2 at the CCSU Track & Field Stadium. The two-day meet will conclude on Sunday, May 3. Full meet information can be found here.
