LEWISBURG, Pa. — Seven Seahawks represented Wagner on Saturday at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic, three weeks out from the team competing in the 2026 NEC Outdoor Championships.
In the women's 800m, junior Magui Calvo-Jorge logged a 2:15.15 time as the lead finisher of a pair of Wagner athletes. Running alongside Calvo-Jorge was junior Victoria Ann Dziubela, who finished in 2:18.07, a new personal best.
Junior Nigel Boboli led the way for Wagner in the men's 800m run, logging a 1:55.00 finish. Sophomore Ignacio San Juan also competed, running a 2:00.34 time.
Graduate Florian Hinry competed in the men's 1500m invitational, clocking in at 3:47.93 to finish 17th. In the men's 10,000m invitational, graduate Justin Morris ran a massive 30:30.61 time to finish 27th of the field of 41 finishers as the highest NEC finisher in the event.
Next up, the Seahawks will again split their time, heading to the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships and Rider Invitational on Saturday, April 18. The IC4A/ECAC Championships, a two-day meet stretching into Sunday, April 19, will be held at Rutgers' Bauer Track & Field Complex. The Rider Invitational, just held on Saturday, will be at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex.
