STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Seahawks have set their 2026 outdoor track & field slate of meets, head coach Marvin Azor announced on Wednesday.
Heading into Azor's first outdoor season after Wagner rounded out its indoor season with a pair of third-place finishes for both the men and women at the NEC Indoor Championships, the Seahawks are looking ahead to 11 meets for their outdoor season.
The team gets going a week earlier in 2026 than they did in 2025, starting off at the Stony Brook Snowflake Classic on Saturday, March 14.
Next up, Wagner returns to the Fred Hardy Invitational on Friday, March 20. Hosted by Richmond at Robbins Stadium, this was where the Seahawks kicked off their 2025 outdoor schedule.
Wagner returns back to Virginia to open the month of April, with William & Mary's Colonial Relays beginning Friday, April 3. Held at Zable Stadium in Williamsburg, Virginia, the meet will wrap up on Saturday, April 4.
From there, the Seahawks will split its time, heading to the Rutgers Relays on Saturday, April 11, held at the Bauer Track & Field Complex in Piscataway, New Jersey. Wagner also competes in Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic, beginning Saturday, April 11 at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and wrapping up on Sunday, April 12.
The second and final split weekend of the season sees Wagner heading to the Rider Invitational on Saturday, April 18 at the Michael P. Brady Track & Field Complex. Also on the books for that weekend, the Seahawks will be at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, starting Saturday, April 18. A second meet at Rutgers' Bauer Track & Field Complex for the Seahawks, that meet will conclude on Sunday, April 19.
Heading to the historic Penn Relays, Wagner will head to Franklin Field on Thursday, April 23 and competes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania through Saturday, April 25.
The NEC Outdoor Championships, next on the schedule, will begin Saturday, May 2 at CCSU's Track & Field Stadium in New Britain, Connecticut.
Competing in one final meet before the NCAA's postseason begins, Wagner rounds out its regular season at the Princeton Elite meet in Princeton, New Jersey on Saturday, May 16.
NCAA postseason competition begins with the NCAA East Regional, beginning Wednesday, May 20 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. The NCAA Division I Championship will be held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, beginning Wednesday, June 3.
