STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner men's tennis team picked up their second straight win at home on Friday, when it defeated Colgate 4-0 at the CSI Tennis Courts.
The Seahawks and Raiders played to clinch on Friday; as a result, only five of the nine potential individual matches were played (two doubles, three singles). Sophomore

Pablo Rodriguez Gonzalez started the day with a 6-2 win on court 2. Then on court 3, graduate student
Tom Lamers and senior
Sebastian Dobson took down their opponents 6-4, clinching the doubles point.

Eddie Schmidt and redshirt freshman
Lukas Escher did not finish their doubles match on court 1, but they each won their singles matches in straight sets. It was Lamers though who won his singles match first by winning 6-3, 6-2 on court 3. Schmidt followed with a 6-2, 7(4)-6 win on court 1, and Escher secured the victory with a 6-4, 6-4 win on court 2.
