Williamsburg, VA – The Wagner women's golf team remains in seventh place after 36 holes at the NEC Championship, posting a +84 heading into the final round on Sunday.
The Seahawks combined for a team score of 660 over the first two rounds, finishing Saturday with an 84-over-par showing.
Senior
Elise Fujita continues to lead the way for Wagner, tied for 17th overall at +17 and recording three birdies across the two rounds. Fellow senior
Ximena de la Garza sits tied for 23rd at +20, improving to shoot +6 in the second round. Freshman
Maria Calleja follows closely behind, carding a +22 to tie for 26th, while senior
Aisha Rodriguez is tied for 31st with a +25. Freshman
Bree Council rounds out the Seahawks lineup, sitting in 51st place with a +39.
The NEC Championship concludes tomorrow, Sunday, April 13, with All-Tournament Team honors going to the top 10 individual finishers.
