University Park, PA – Sophomore Flavio Vinci made a strong return on day one at the NCAA Championships on Thursday, March 20th, hosted by Penn State at the Pennsylvania State University's Multi-Sport Facility.

In his return to the competition, he secured seven victories, placing him in 13th place in the men's sabre category. With a .500 win percentage, Flavio looks to maintain his momentum as he heads into day two of the Championships.
