Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College men's lacrosse coach Will Fox has announced the team's captains for the 2025 season with seniors James Rea and Quin Hoke taking on new leadership responsibilities.

During last year's campaign, Rea appeared in all 15 games for the first time in his career, starting nine. He scored a career-high 16 goals including five at Fairfield on February 24. Rea's 16 goals ranked second on the Seahawks while his four assists ranked fourth and his 20 points ranked tied for fourth. 

Throughout his three years as a Seahawk, the Brick, NJ native has appeared in 30 games, scoring 17 goals while adding four assists, collecting 10 ground balls, and causing two turnovers.

During last season, Hoke appeared in all 15 games while dishing out one assist. The Bethlehem, PA collected 25 ground balls and forced 12 caused turnovers during his third year on Grymes Hill. 

During his career as a Seahawk, Hoke has appeared in 41 games, scoring three goals while adding four assists, 71 collected ground balls and 23 caused turnovers.

Rea, Hoke, and the rest of the Seahawks will begin their 2024-25 campaign against Manhattan on Saturday, February 1 at 11:00 am on Hameline Field.
