Staten Island, NY - The Wagner Men's Water Polo team hosted two MAWPC opponents, George Washington and Navy. The Seahwks split the day with a win against Navy at the Spiro Sports Center.

Andrew Cowie got the Seahawks on the board to start this game. George Washington matched that about a minute later and then the teams would trade goals to knot the game at two. Senior Kristian Stanczewki and freshman
Smith Connors ended the quarter with goals to give Wagner a 4-2 lead to end the first quarter. The revolutionaires connected on a trio of goals to start the second quarter. Stanczewski then scored his third of four total goals on the day to tie the game 5-5. Both teams scored once more to finish the half to keep the game tied, 6-6.
This game was a defensive battle, with no team taking a lead larger than one throughout the game. After a few back and forth goals in the third, the revolutionaires tied the game again at nine a piece. George Washington struck first in the final quarter however, Wagner would take a 11-10 lead thanks to a pair of goals from Stanczewski and senior
Mattia Bognolo. George Washington then matched those two goals and then the Seahawks found the back of the net to knot the game at 12 with 0:49 remaining in the game. With 0:05 seconds left, the revolutionaires struck with a goal and the Green & White were unable to find the net in the final seconds and they fell, 13-12.

Game 2 Results: Wagner 15 - Navy 10
The Green & White started this game off slowly, falling behind 3-0 in the opening minutes and eventually trailing 3-1 at the end of the quarter. After a quick talk with Coach
Josh Hower in between quarters, the Seahawks rattled off 5 straight goals highlighted by a strike from Senior
Andrew Cowie en route to a 6-4 lead at the half.
The Seahawks picked up where they left off to begin the second half with four unanswered goals. Wagner outscored Navy 5-1 in the third quarter and led 11-5. Teams would trade two goals each to start the final period. The midshipmen would go on to score three more goals two Wagner's two more goals but Wagner pulled away with a 15-10 victory.
