Wagner In The MAWPC Tournament
The Seahawks enter the championship weekend with momentum following a strong regular season that included key conference victories and several high-scoring performances.
Wagner is standing 4-8 in MAWPC Tournament play. At last year's championship, the Green & White also entered as the No. 4 seed, earning a quarterfinal win before falling to top-seeded Fordham and No. 5 Bucknell.
Scouting The Bison
Bucknell enters the tournament with a competitive conference record and a roster headlined once again by standout attacker Aleksa Stefanovic, Tyler Heblad, Jovan Udovicic and Ian Shultz.
The Bison closed their regular season with a matchup against the Seahawks, where Bucknell earned a narrow 16-15 victory in one of their most complete offensive outings of the year.
The Series with Bucknell
Since the teams' series began in 2016, Bucknell holds the overall advantage.
This season, the programs met twice, continuing a pattern of tightly contested games between the longtime MAWPC rivals, with Bucknell winning both games by a combined three goals. The Bison's most recent victory came behind explosive scoring and late fourth-quarter defensive stands that sealed their win.
