THE BRONX, N.Y. — Wagner senior Lazlo Strasser and sophomore Smith Connors were named to the Metro Atlantic Water Polo Conference's All-Tournament team, the conference announced on Tuesday. Strasser takes home first-team honors, with Connors earned a place on the second-team.
The awards come after the fifth-seeded Seahawks went 1-2 at the MAWPC Championships, taking down No. 4 Bucknell 21-13 before falling to No. 1 Fordham and No. 2 Navy. The Seahawks went 12-18 this season, going 4-8 in MAWPC play.
Strasser logged 14 goals across three games, scoring almost a third of the Seahawks' goals. He earns first-team honors after being named All-MAWPC for the 2025 season.
Connors added seven goals of his own to cap off his second season on Grymes Hill after earning All-MAWPC honorable mention. Connors was also named to the All-Tournament team in 2024.
