Syracuse, NY - The Wagner College women's basketball team dropped a Northeast Conference (NEC) contest at Le Moyne, 56-45.
The Dolphins opened the contest on a 13-2 run as the first quarter ended with Le Moyne holding a 20-8 advantage.
Le Moyne continued its offensive prowess in the second quarter as they shot 8-18 from the field while holding Wagner to just 3-17 shooting. Le Moyne outscored Wagner 18-7 in the second quarter to take a 38-15 advantage into halftime.
Wagner outscored Le Moyne 12-10 in the third quarter, the Seahawks held a 15-9 advantage on the boards. Le Moyne took a 48-27 lead into the final 10 minutes.
The Green & White chipped away in the fourth quarter as they got as close as 9 with less than 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Wagner launched a 10-0 run to bring the game to single-digits. The Seahawks were able to hold the Dolphins to just eight points on 3-14 shooting from the field.

Semie Brar tallied a team-high 16 points on 4-10 shooting from three-point range, Brar also brought in five rebounds. The Fresno, CA native tallied four steals.

Taleah Washington dished out seven assists while bringing in seven rebounds.
Wagner will be back in action on Saturday, February 3 when they welcome Stonehill to the Spiro Sports Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
