Staten Island, NY - On Friday, the Wagner College Baseball team unveiled its schedule for the highly anticipated 2025 season.

The Seahawks are set to compete in 51 regular-season games, including 30 NEC matchups and 21 non-conference contests. Highlighting the non-conference slate is the season-opening series against Indiana State, the reigning Missouri Valley Conference regular-season champions. The three-game set in Gastonia, NC, promises an early test against a formidable opponent.

Wagner will then return to Staten Island for its home opener at SIUH Community Ballpark, hosting former NEC rival Merrimack for a three-game series beginning March 21. This marks the earliest home opener for the Seahawks since 2021 and will be an early opportunity to showcase their talent on home turf.

The Green and White will gain critical road experience with early trips to Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Winthrop before diving into conference play. NEC action begins on March 7 with a three-game series at Norfolk State, while the NEC home opener is set for March 14 against defending NEC Tournament champions LIU, a key matchup early in the season.

The Seahawks' conference schedule features three-game series against all 10 NEC opponents, interspersed with exciting non-conference midweek matchups. These games will offer Wagner ample opportunities to build momentum and test their depth.

The regular season concludes with a three-game home series against Delaware State beginning May 16. This finale will set the stage for the NEC Baseball Tournament, which is scheduled to start on May 21 at Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, NY.
