Lewisburg, PA - The Wagner College field hockey team dropped a non-conference contest at Bucknell 3-0 on Friday afternoon.

In a scoreless first quarter, the Seahawks tallied two shots including one on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Sam Black stopped two shots in the opening 15 minutes to keep the game scoreless.

In the second frame, the Bison were able to find the back of the net 9:56 into the frame to take a 1-0 lead. Bucknell outshot Wagner 4-1 in the second quarter as Sam Black stopped one shot.

Wagner outshot Bucknell 3-2 in the third quarter but it was the Bison who was able to find the back of the net to take a 2-0 lead into the final 15 minutes.

The Seahawks tallied two shots in the fourth but Bucknell was able to add a third goal in the frame to preserve the victory.

Wagner will be back in action on Sunday, September 24 when they welcome Lehigh at 1:00 pm.
