Somerset, NJ - The Northeast Conference (NEC) has announced that fourteen student-athletes of the Wagner College men's and women's track & field teams have earned All-Rookie, All-NEC, and other major awards for performances during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
For the outdoor season, Seahawks who made the All-Rookie team include Alex Taddeo, Hunter Longo, and Christian Milillo.
Alex Taddeo received two honors in the 60M and the 200M. Taddeo currently has a 6.97 mark in the 60M and a 22.01 mark in the 200M.
Hunter Longo represents the mile for the All-Rookie team, with a time of 4:23.85.
Onto the field events, Christian Milillo acquired his honor in the weight throw. He currently has a mark of 17.64M.

As for the All-Conference Second Team, seven Seahawks obtained the honor during the indoor season. Ruth-Ann Chambers represents the 400M with a time of 57.90.
Muhammad Qadri earned the 800M, finishing with a best time of 1:54.68.
Dominic Palermo received two honors, one in the 3000M and the other in the 5000M. Palermo's 3000M time was 8:34.14, and his 5000M time was 15:02.45.
In the field awards, Kharlin Watkins earned second-team All-Conference with a height of 1.95M in the high jump. Freshman Julio Martinez represents the pole vault with a mark of 4.65M.
Corey Durden launched the shot put 16.75M to secure his honor on the second team. Christian Milillo collected another honor with a 17.64M weight throw.

For All-Conference First-Team, Wagner had six student-athletes receive honors.
Jason Marchese represents the 500M with a time of 1:03.18. Michael Hubert's 1:54.44 800M secured his spot on the first team. Luke Cunningham earned his spot by running a 4:18.70 mile to round out the men's All-Conference First Team.
As for the women, Sara Rutherford's 57.72 400M earned her the honor of All-Conference First Team. Marlene Ann Adolf won the 500M at the indoor championships, with a time of 1:15.91.
Ruth-Ann Chambers received another honor by running an 8.69 in the 60M hurdles.Â
Onto major awards from the current outdoor season, Ruth-Ann Chambers was named 'Most Outstanding Track Performer' (Sprints). As well as First Team All-Conference in the 60M hurdles and Second Team All-Conference in the 400M.

Julio Martinez and Christian Milillo will share the title of the 'Most Outstanding Rookie'. Martinez also earned All-Conference Second Team in the pole vault, meanwhile Christian Milillo also sits on the All-Conference Second Team in the weight throw.

Wagner Seahawks head coach Joe Stasi and assistant's Julian Harvey, Michele Daniels, and Blerim Pocesta received the 'Coaching Staff of the Year'.
Next up, both men's and women's Wagner College track & field teams will travel to Philadelphia, PA for the 128th annual Penn Relays from Thursday, April 27th to Saturday, April 30th.
