Cambridge, MA & Providence, RI – The Wagner College women's water polo team earned three victories at the Harvard Invitational this weekend hosted by Harvard and Brown.
Wagner dropped its fourth game of the season in the opening game of the weekend to Harvard, 11-7.

Abbey Simshauser combined for four of the seven goals for Wagner in the contest as both players tallied two goals each.
Wagner got its first win of the weekend with a 20-1 win over Gannon. In two games this season against Gannon, the Seahawks have outscored the Golden Knights 40-6.

On Sunday, Wagner opened the day with a 20-4 win over the Redlands. Sophomore
Lizzy Koerper and freshman
Magali Ogg netted four goals each while
Mar Navarro tallied a hat trick in the contest.
In the final game of the weekend, Wagner earned a 12-5 win over Brown. The Seahawks capitalized on opportunities early in the contest as they outscored Brown 5-0 in the first half. Five different goal scorers found the back of the net in the first half as

Wagner continued its momentum in the third quarter as they outscored Brown 4-1.

Despite being outscored 4-3 in the fourth quarter, the Green & White were able to hold on for the victory.
Wagner will begin Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play on Saturday, March 18 when they welcome VMI to the Spiro Sports Center. The Green & White will then welcome La Salle and Villanova on Sunday, March 19. The Seahawks enter conference play with a 17-4 overall record with one more non-conference contest remaining.
