Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College softball team dropped a home doubleheader to Saint Peter's, falling 5-3 in game one before losing game two 12-1.

After the Peacocks took a 3-0 lead with two runs in the first and one in the third, the Seahawks answered in the bottom of the third.
 
An RBI single by graduate student 
Nora Conway got the Seahawks on the board and made it a 3-1 game.
 
Conway stepped up again one inning later, delivering a two-run triple to tie the game at 3-3.
 
The Peacocks scored two runs in the fifth to earn the victory.
 
Graduate student 
Eve Harvey was charged with the loss in the circle, striking out three batters in seven innings.
 
Conway led the way with two hits offensively, while senior 
Bianca Worthy, sophomore 
Kate Wolf, and freshman 
Payton Janicki also had hits in the contest.

The Peacocks scored nine runs in the top of the first and never looked back in game two.
 
The Seahawks got on the board in the third on an RBI by junior 
Samantha Tran.
 
Conway, Worthy, and freshman 
Jordyn Dulken all recorded hits for the Seahawks in the contest.
 
Freshmen Natalie Rodridguez and 
Emma Crosby both saw action in the circle.
 
Next up, Wagner will take the road to take on Saint Francis U on Saturday and Sunday in a three-game Northeast Conference (NEC) series.
