Norfolk, VA – Graduate student
Eve Harvey allowed one run on six hits in a complete game victory, as the Wagner College softball team earned a 2-1 victory over Lehigh on Sunday morning at Norfolk State University.
Harvey struck out three batters throughout the contes as the Seahawks earned their first win of the season and finished opening weekend with a 1-2 mark.
Wagner struck early, as senior
Bianca Worthy walked to lead off the game. After freshman
Jordyn Dulken reached on an error, graduate student
Nora Conway came through with an RBI single to get the Seahawks on the board.
Next up, Wagner executed the double steal to perfection, as Dulken stole home to double Wagner's lead at 2-0 in the first inning.
Lehigh answered with one run in the bottom half of the first, but couldn't get the tying run across, as Harvey tossed six consecutive scoreless frames to give Wagner the win.

Justine Carranza also had hits for Wagner in the contest.
Next up, Wagner will travel to Campbell University for the Campbell Invitational on February 24-26.
