Kingston, RI – The Wagner College men's basketball team suffered a 69-53 defeat at Rhode Island on Tuesday night at the Ryan Center.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 1-2 on the young season, while the Rams improve to 3-0.

Tyje Kelton led the Green and White with 10 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, with junior
Zaire Williams, senior
Rahmir Moore, and sophomore
Julian Brown adding nine points apiece.
The Seahawks jumped out to a quick lead, as a bucket by sophomore
Keyontae Lewis gave Wagner an 8-4 advantage three minutes into the game. Both teams battled early in the first half, with junior
Rob Taylor II giving the Seahawks a 14-12 advantage midway through the first period.
From there, the Rams established a 37-26 halftime lead and outscored the Seahawks 32-27 in the second half to earn the victory.
The Seahawks will be back in action on Saturday for a noon matchup at Big East member Seton Hall at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
