Triathlon Completes Season At National Championships

Tempe, AZ - The Wagner College triathlon team wrapped up its season at the Collegiate Division 1 Triathlon National Championships, hosted by Arizona State University last Saturday, November 11.  

The Seahawks placed 11th out of 13 teams scoring a total of 378 team points. 

Freshman Ulrikke Gaare-Olstad led Wagner finishing in 98th place with a chip time of 1:15:11, scoring 111 team points. Following Olstad was Senior Til Ocvirk with a time of 1:16:46 scoring 106 for the Seahawks. 

Freshman Olivia Roldan-Casado scored 104 points for the team with a chip time of 1:17:12 while sophomore Kasha Vitoratos finished with a time of 1:25:44 scoring 57 points for the team. 

Arizona State claimed their seventh straight national title this Saturday. Freshman Maira Carreau of University of Denver took home gold with a time of 1:03:22. 

This concludes the 2023 season.
