The Series
Tuesday's game marks the second all-time meeting between the Seahawks and Rams, with Wagner winning the lone prior matchup between the two teams. In 2005, Wagner earned a 63-61 road victory over Rhode Island. This marks Wagner's second game of the young season and fourth in the last three seasons against a team with a Ram as the mascot.
The most recent connection between Wagner and Rhode Island is former head coach Dan Hurley, who led the Seahawks between 2010-2012 before leading Rhode Island from 2012-2018.
Wagner's last victory against an Atlantic 10 opponent came in 2021, when the Seahawks earned a 58-44 win at VCU.

Rhode Island enters Tuesday's game with a 2-0 record. No stranger to the Northeast Conference, the Rams earned an 81-70 win over Central Connecticut to open the season. URI's second win of the season came on Thursday night, a 93-80 win over Fairfield.
