Fordham held a 5-2 after the initial frame of play. In the second, senior Ryan Lanier would score the lone goal of the quarter for Wagner, as the Rams led 10-3 heading into the second half of the contest.

The Seahawks tallied three goals in the third quarter. Chambers would record his hat-trick with 2:49 left in the quarter. Fellow junior Andrew Cowie and senior Barnabas Vidovics would be responsible for the Green & White's other goals. After three, Fordham maintained a 15-6 lead.

Wagner would outscore Fordham in the final eight minutes of the game, 5-2. Sophomore Laszlo Strasser, sophomore Eliot Alvarez, junior Mattia Bognolo, junior Kristian Stanczewski all scored goals in the fourth quarter. Chambers would also add one more tally before the game was over, bringing his daily total to four goals.

Fordham would prevail over Wagner, 17-11.

This matchup was the fourth conference game for the Seahawks, as they fell to 2-2 in MAWPC play. The Green & White earned conference wins against Johns Hopkins and Navy earlier this season.

Next up, the Seahawks will face off against two other MAWPC opponents on Saturday, October 7, where Wagner will take on Mount Saint Mary's and Bucknell. After this weekend, the Seahawks will head to the Harvard Invite from Saturday, October 14 to Sunday, October 15.
