Santa Barbara, CA – The Wagner College women's water polo team opened its season with four victories at the UCSB Winter Invite this weekend.
Wagner defeated Ottawa University Arizona, California State Monterey Bay, California State Fullerton and San Diego State.
The Seahawks' lone loss came against UCLA.
Wagner opened its season with a 25-5 victory over Ottawa before defeating California State Monterey Bay 23-5 in the night cap on Friday.
Freshman
Martina Parisi tallied four goals against Ottawa as graduate student

Against CSU Monterey Bay, junior
Andrea Arias scored a team-high five goals.
On Saturday, the Seahawks defeated CSU Fullerton 24-2 as

Martina Parisi netted a hat trick.
Wagner's lone loss of the weekend was a 14-7 defeat at the hands of UCLA.
Carlota Alonso tallied a hat trick while senior Abbey SImshauser netted two goals.
In its final game of the weekend, Wagner earned a 12-11 victory in overtime over San Diego State.
