The Seahawks fell to Siena, 15-8, on Wednesday afternoon at Hameline Field.

Wagner opened the scoring 1:47 into the contest when junior Megan Greco scored her first of three goals in the contest off a feed from graduate student Victoria Tucci. After Siena leveled the score less than a minute later, Victoria Tucci found the back of the net to give Wagner a 2-1 lead. The Saints ended the first quarter on a 2-0 run and took a 3-2 lead into the second quarter.

The Saints put a stamp on the contest in the second quarter as they outscored the Seahawks 5-1 behind fifth-year senior Nicole McNeely who tallied two goals in the frame. Graduate student Madeline Seims scored the lone goal for Wagner in the second quarter as Siena took an 8-3 lead into the half.

Victoria Tucci opened the scoring in the second half with her second goal of the contest off a man-up free position chance. Following the goal from Tucci, the Saints closed the third quarter on a 4-1 run as senior Kasey Dorney scored the other goal for Wagner in the third.

While trailing 14-5 in the final stanza, the Green & White launched a 3-0 run behind two goals from Megan Greco and one goal from freshman Katie Siverson. The late comeback wasn't enough as the Seahawks fell to the Saints, 15-8.
To go along with her hat trick, Megan Greco scooped two ground balls, had one caused turnover, and one draw control. In her first career start in between the pipes, freshman Bryn Bockstie stopped six out of 13 shots faced.

About One Love
One Love educates young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better. The One Love foundation was founded to honor the tragic death of Yeardley Love by engaging young people through compelling, relatable films and honest conversations around healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors. Through the One Love workshops and peer-to-peer discussions, One Love offers a framework that helps students spread our message online and in their communities.

Both Wagner lacrosse teams participated in the One Love workshop and peer-to-peer discussions on Thursday, March 24 in the Spiro Sports Center. The teams learned about the foundation and identified how to pick up on how to avoid abuse.
