San Diego, CA – The Wagner women's water polo team fell to #13 UC San Diego, 11-3, before defeating Austin College 13-7 on Saturday.

The Tritons snapped the Seahawks 15-game winning streak on Saturday morning in San Diego with an 11-3 victory.
The Tritons put a stamp on a stamp on the contest with an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter before junior
Skye Nankervis got the Green & White on the board to cut the lead to 3-1.
The Tritons took a 3-1 lead into the second quarter as junior
Abbey Simshauser got the Seahawks closer with a goal early in the frame before the Tritons ended the half on a 2-0 run to take a 5-2 lead into the intermission.
Skye Nankervis began the second half with her lone sprint win of the contest before UC San Diego outscored Wagner 3-0 in the third quarter to take an 8-2 lead into the final stanza.

Skye Nankervis scored twice on five shots to go along with one steal, one block, two drawn exclusions, and one sprint win while senior goalkeeper
Kristina Bell stopped five shots in the contest.
#14 Wagner (13) vs. Austin College (7)
The Seahawks ended the non-conference portion of their schedule with a victory over a division III member Austin College.
Skye Nankervis opened the contest with a sprint victory and proceeded to score the first four goals for Wagner to open the contest, senior
Sofia Diaz Alvarez and fifth-year senior
Malia Josephson each tallied one goal in the frame to give the Green & White a 6-1 lead after the first quarter.

Pip Nash rounded out the goal scorers in the second stanza as she scored two goals to give Wagner a 10-1 lead heading into halftime.
The third quarter began with a
Skye Nankervis sprint victory that set up a goal for
Malia Josephson, her third of the contest.

Lizzy Koerper tallied goals in the third as the Seahawks went to the final stanza holding a 13-1 lead.
Despite being outscored 6-0 in the final stanza, Wagner claimed its 18th victory of the season with a 13-7 victory.
Skye Nankervis won three sprints and found the back of the net five times on six shots to go along with three steals.
Malia Josephson recorded a hat trick to go along with three assists and three steals. In her first start of the season, senior goalkeeper
Mikaela Wells stopped six shots.
Wagner will begin conference play next weekend with two games at on the campus of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). On Saturday, March 19, Wagner will battle Villanova before taking on VMI on Sunday, March 20.
