Staten Island, NY- The Wagner men's swimming & diving team lost a hard-fought meet to LIU, 128-101 on senior day at the Spiro Sports Center on Friday.

Jack Leighton won two individual races, including the 200 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Freestyle. In the 200 Yard Freestyle, the senior touched the wall at 1:44.40 and in the 100 Yard Freestyle, he hit the wall at 47.54. Teammate Dylna Egan was not far behind in that heat, touching the wall third at 1:50.17.

Leighton also missed a third first-place finish by a hair, hitting the wall second in the 50 Yard Freestyle at 21.58, .03 seconds after LIU's Alejandro Pascual Del Cid.

The Seahawks posted a win in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:30.86. That foursome was made up of Leighton,
Kristian Stanczewski,
Tristan Lee, and
Karl Lovett.

Lee had an individual victory himself, hitting the wall at 2:03.91 in the 200 Yard Individual Medley.
