Emmitsburg, MD – The Wagner men's water polo team earned a Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) victory over Mount St. Mary's.
In a tight first quarter, both teams found the back of the net three times. Senior Olivér Fodor, sophomore

Barnabas Vidovics found the back of the net for Wagner.

Laszlo Strasser tallied goals in the frame. Strasser tallied two goals in the final minute of the second quarter to give Wagner a 7-6 lead going into halftime.
In the third quarter, Wagner opened the frame on a 2-0 run to take a 9-6 advantage as senior

Laszlo Strasser tallied the two goals. Wagner added three more goals in the frame to take a 12-9 lead entering the fourth quarter.
In the final frame, Mount St. Mary's outscored Wagner 3-1 but it wasn't enough to overcome the lead Wagner built in the third quarter as the Seahawks held on for a 13-12 victory.
This is the second consecutive weekend the Seahawks have defeated the Mountaineers as the victory has won six in a row.
The Seahawks will wrap up the regular season on Sunday, November 6 when they take on Bucknell at 11:00 A.M.
