Women's Triathlon

Triathlon Set to Compete in the Collegiate Triathlon National Championships

Tempe, AZ - The Wagner women's triathlon team will return to action for the Collegiate Triathlon National Championships.

This is the fifth time Tempe, AZ will play host to the event as Arizona State has served as the host since 2017.

Last year, sophomore Clara Normand finished 21st with a time of 1:08:48.1. Junior Maia Vitoratos placed 36th with a chip time of 1:12:57.1 while Til Ocvirk placed 38th with a time of 1:14:44.3.

Senior Allyson Meehan came in 43rd place clocking in at 1:18:31.7. 


Freshmen Kayla Renwick, Presley Staretz, Kasha Vitoratos and Leticia Campos will be competing in their first National Championships. 

Leticia Campos in her first race representing the Green and White at the Toughman Sprint on September 24, and placed first in the 16-19 age group. Campos completed the race in 1:39:57, her first run time was 3:55, her bike time was 1:05:02, and her second run time was 29:40. 

Kayla Renwick finished second in the 16-19 age group at the Toughman Sprint with a time of 1:48:40. She clocked in her first run at 4:12, finished her bike portion at 1:11:41, and finished her second run at 31:22. 

All seven members of the Wagner triathlon team will be competing to close out the 2022 season.
