Fairfield, CT- The Wagner men's and women's swimming & diving teams open the season on Friday and Saturday at the Fairfield Invite.
The diving portion of the event takes place Friday at 6:00 p.m. and the swim portion will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Preseason Polls
The women's team was picked to finish second in the conference this season, behind Central Connecticut State.
On the men's side, the Seahawks were picked to finish fourth behind LIU, Howard, and St. Francis Brooklyn.
The Schedule
Following this weekend's invite, Wagner will take part in a tri-meet on Saturday, October 15 at Iona with Sacred Heart.
The Green & White close out the month at Mount St. Mary's on October 29 in Emmitsburg, MD. On Saturday, November 5, the Seahawks will swim a Northeast Conference (NEC) meet at St. Francis Brooklyn.
The fall schedule concludes December 2-4 for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Winter Championships in East Meadow, NY.
The Roster
The women's team added 10 newcomers to the roster ahead of the 2022-23 season and will have 14 returners.
The men's team added 12 newcomers ahead of the program's second season in 2022-23 and will have nine returners.
