Laszlo Strasser of the Wagner men's water polo team earned his second consecutive Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAWPC) Rookie of the Week honor, the conference announced.
The Budapest, Hungary played a critical role in Wagner earning three victories in four games this last weekend, including two at the Spiro Sports Center on Sunday, October 16.
This past weekend, Strasser led the Seahawk attack with 11 goals to go along with 11 assists and four drawn exclusions.
During his first season on Grymes Hill, Strasser leads Wagner with 59 goals through his first 23 games.
Wagner sits at 12-11 through the season with a 7-5 MAWPC record.
Wagner will continue its season this weekend on Saturday, October 22 when they welcome Navy at the Spiro Sports Center at 10:00 A.M. before traveling to Brooklyn, NY to take on LIU at 6:30 P.M.
