New Rochelle, NY- The Wagner men's swimming & diving team completed the Iona Invitational on Saturday.
Adrian Aguirre posted his first individual win of the season, touching the wall at 21.74 in the 50 Yard Freestyle. The sophomore also finished third in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 48.33.
Kaan Nalcaci finished second in that event at 48.28.

Russell Gavino placed second in the 200 Yard Indiviudal Medley at 1:59.48 and the 200 Yard Breaststroke at 2:12.18.
Ruben Van Gool also had two second-place finishes on the day. The freshman hit the wall at 4:51.96 in the 500 Yard Freestyle and at 10:00.50 in the 1000 Yard Freestyle.

Brayden Schaeffer earned a pair of third place finishes on Saturday, touching the wall at 2:02.24 in the 200 Yard Backstroke and 1:48.58 in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

Carter Green won his first collegiate diving events, posting a 186.55 in the 1 Meter event and a 195.85 in the 3 Meter event.

Wagner returns to the pool in two weeks to take on Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD on Saturday, October 29.
