Princeton, NJ – The Wagner men's water polo team fell to Navy and Princeton at Princeton University on Saturday.
The Seahawks dropped a tightly contested match against No. 20 ranked Navy, 7-6, before falling to No. 9 Princeton, 17-11.

The Seahawks and the Midshipmen were pitted in league action to open Saturday's slew of games. The Seahawks held a 2-1 advantage after the first quarter. Both teams tallied one goal in the final frame of the first half, giving the Seahawks a 3-2 lead at the break. The Midshipmen put a stamp on the match outscoring the Green & White 5-3 in the second half to earn the one goal victory.

Wagner (11) vs. Princeton (17)
The Tigers came out on a mission to open the nightcap as they outscored the Seahawks 5-0 in opening five minutes of the contest. The hosts carried that momentum into the second quarter as they outscored Wagner 4-2 in the second quarter and 9-3 in the first half. Both teams tallied eight goals in the second half, but the early Princeton lead was too much for the Seahawks to overcome as they fell to the Tigers.

The Seahawks will conclude their weekend as they travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for the second consecutive weekend to battle conference opponent Bucknell University at 5:00 P.M.
