The Course… A draft-legal sprint distance triathlon... Swim Course: The swim took place in the Smith Mountain Lake where the competitors commenced with 750m course on the beach. A short run from the beach transitioned to the bike course.
Bike Course: The bike course was a 20K. Athletes turn left out of the park to continue the ride on rural country roads with a few nice hills and rollers.
Run Course: The run was a 5K contained entirely in the state park with water stations located every mile.
Next Up For Wagner… The Seahawks will have two weeks until they head to St. George, UT for the St. George National Qualifier on October 30.
