IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships (Results)
 
Boston, MA - Several members of the Wagner men's indoor track & field team competed at the IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships, held this past weekend at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center. 
 
Senior Jonathan Besselink and junior Robert Guidicipietro placed among the top-15 in the 3000m as Besselink finished ninth with a time of 8:17.16 while Guidicipietro clocked in at 8:22.78. 
 
Sophomore Michael Pepe competed in the weight throw as he posted a finals mark of 15.76m while senior Justice Stewart cleared 8.40 in the 60 hurdles semifinals
 
Junior Trausti Thorsteins, fresh off his second-straight Most Outstanding Track Performer (Distance) award at this year's Northeast Conference (NEC) Indoor Track & Field Championship, competed in the mile along with teammate Ben Finnigan. 
 
Thorsteins posted a time of 4:10.98 during the preliminaries while Finnigan checked in at 4:17.68. 
 
Sophomore Joshua Cadet set a new personal-best in the 200m, as he finished with a time of 21.87. Classmate William Cuthbertson competed in the 800m and crossed the finish line during preliminaries at 1:57.83 to conclude the Seahawk performances.
 
The group will rejoin their teammates as Wagner prepares for its first outdoor competition of the season on Saturday, March 21, as the Seahawks host the annual Wagner College Invite at Hameline Field.
