Loudonville, NY – The Wagner women's lacrosse team continues non-conference play on the road Saturday when the Seahawks head north to the Capital Region for a 12 PM opening draw against the Siena Saints.


Wagner-Siena Series:
The all-time head-to-head is tied 4-4 entering Saturday's game, though the teams have not faced each other since the 2014 season. Four of the previous eight contests were decided by four goals or fewer.


Last Time Out For Wagner:
The Seahawks reeled off separate five-goal spurts, one in each half, in a 19-13 win last Saturday over the Colgate Raiders in their first road game of the season. Eight different players scored at least one goal, including four who finished with hat tricks as the Green and White matched their season-high single-game goal total. 


About Siena:
Siena enters Saturday with a 2-3 record, with both wins coming at home and all three losses coming on the road. Mary Soures and Annie Brennan lead the Saints with 14 goals and 11 goals, respectively, and are responsible for more than 45 percent of the team's goal total. Kerry Geretty and Kaitlyn Dowsett both have six assists and are first and fourth, respectively, on the team in points. Allie Mervine has played all 300 minutes in net this season, averaging 8.6 saves per game.
