Hamilton, NY – The Wagner women's lacrosse team is on the road for the first time all season Saturday, February 29, when the Green and White head north to Colgate for a 3:00 p.m. opening draw.

Wagner-Colgate Series:
Saturday marks the third match-up all-time between the Seahawks and Raiders. Wagner won last year at Hameline Field, 12-11. Down three in the first half, Wagner scored nine of the game's final 14 goals. Then-junior Stephanie Falcone scored the game-tying and eventual game-winning goals in the win, finishing with a hat trick. Stefani Peluso and Madeline Seims each added two goals, and Erin Kerstetter collected a game-high eight draw controls for Wagner.

Last Time Out For Wagner:
The Seahawks put eight on the board in the first half in an eventual 11-10 win for Wagner over Vermont last Sunday. Seims scored four times, Audrey Cerrone added a pair of goals and Kerstetter handed out three assists. Lauren DiStefano stopped eight Catamount shots in net.

About Colgate:
The Raiders are coming off a 21-4 loss at #4 Syracuse on Monday, after opening the season with wins over Marist (14-9 on Feb. 8) and Vermont (10-8 on Feb. 16), respectively. Danielle Van Calcar and Noelle Patterson lead the team with eight goals apiece, followed closely by Eliza Soutter with six; the three have combined for more than 75 percent of Colgate's 28 goals thus far. Samantha Croston has played all 180 minutes in net, making 30 total saves, including a season-high 15 in the win over Marist.

Up Next for Wagner:
Wagner will head back up north to the Capital Region on Saturday March 7 for a 12:00 p.m. non-conference clash with the Siena Saints in Loudonville, NY.
