Wagner 20, Johns Hopkins 13
Following a first day split, the Seahawks were looking to close out the weekend with a Senior Day win. The first quarter was a close affair, Johns Hopkins would start the scoring only 25 seconds into the game, but
Vuk Bulajic and
Lachlan Trabinger would both respond for Wagner, scoring the next two goals.
András Bimbó-Szuhai and
Matthew Miller would each grab a goal in the final minutes of the quarter and Wagner would end the period leading 4-3.
The Green & White would separate themselves from the Blue Jays in the second and third quarters, outscoring Johns Hopkins 13-6. Freshman 2-Meter
Olivér Fodor led the way with four of those 13, Bulajic, Trabinger, and
Aaron Leighton would each add two, while Miller and freshman
Shaked Yacoby each netted one. The Seahawks would enter the final stanza leading 17-9.
The fourth quarter played out much like the first, with both teams scoring very evenly. Wagner would add three goals to their total, with scores coming from Fodor, Bulajic, and Miller, before Coach
Ciaran Wolohan utilized his bench, allowing the Seahawks to display their depth. When the final horn sounded, Wagner would come away with a 20-13 victory.
The Blue Jays were not led by any single, standout performance, but rather seven different goal scorers, including six players recording braces.
