Moon Township, PA- The Wagner College softball team earned an 11-1 victory over Robert Morris in game two as part of a Northeast Conference (NEC) split on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks lost game one by a score of 10-1 and move to 12-21 on the season and 2-4 in conference play.

The Green & White took control of the game early and never looked back. After freshman
Natalie Del Ponte got the Seahawks started with an RBI groundout, junior
Kaila Smith followed with a two-run home run to right center to make it 3-0 in the top of the first inning.
For Smith, it marks her 17
th career home run, which gives her sole possession of fourth place all-time in Wagner history.
After the Colonials answered with a run in the bottom of the first, Wagner countered with a five-run third inning that included a home run by senior
Karen Prihoda, as well as RBIs by senior
Jessica Carlucci and sophomore
Alexis Silinonte.
Prihoda added to the scoring in the fourth by stealing home, before a sac fly by Del Ponte made it 10-1. Carlucci then put the exclamation point on the game with a solo shot in the fifth, giving the Seahawks an 11-1 victory.
In the circle, freshman
Eve Harvey earned her fifth victory of the season, tossing the complete game while striking out two and holding RMU to just two hits.

The Seahawks took an early lead in the second inning of game one. After junior
Amelia Van Orman singled to left field, Silinonte drove in the first run of the game with an RBI single to center field, giving Wagner the 1-0 advantage.
Van Orman led the Green and White with two hits, as Silinonte, Prihoda, junior
Hannah Lewis, and freshman
Breanna Thompson also recorded hits.
The Colonials scored one run in the second, three in the third, and six in the fourth to earn the victory.
Freshman
Kayla Hooks was charged with the loss, while senior
Ciera Luna also came on in relief.
Next up, the Seahawks will host Drexel for a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday, starting at 2 pm.
