Staten Island, NY – Ben Martin and George Prince scored three goals apiece which, along with a stingy defensive performance, led Dartmouth to an 11-4 victory over Wagner at chilly Hameline Field on Saturday.
With the loss, the Seahawks fall to 1-4 on the season while the Big Green are now 1-2.
Dartmouth scored the game's first five goals en route to building a 7-1 halftime bulge. The Seahawks settled down following the intermission, as they were narrowly outscored 4-3 over the game's final 30 minutes but the Big Green remained in control throughout.

Dominic Branda scored two goals which, along with one assist, gave him a team-high three points on the day while senior attackman
John Norton supplied Wagner's other two goals on a pair of unassisted tallies

Nick Warren won 10-of-18 faceoffs and led the Seahawks in ground balls with six. Defensively, senior long-stick midfielder
Riley Owens was active throughout, coming up with a team-high five caused turnovers while senior defender
Kevin Doherty add three CTs.
In goal, senior
Matt Sefcik was credited with 10 saves while his counterpart, Daniel Hincks, turned away 11 shots.
Team-wise, the Big Green held a 39-28 edge in shots and led in ground balls, 38-34. Wagner was 1-of-4 on extra-man opportunities while the Seahawks' man-down unit held Dartmouth to 0-2 in this department.
Wagner is right back at it on Tuesday, March 5 when the Seahawks host VMI in a 12:00 p.m. start
