Los Angeles, CA – The No. 16 Wagner women's water polo team defeated Cal State East Bay by a count of 14-4 before edging No. 19 San Jose State 14-12.

The Seahawks jumped out to a 9-1 lead to at the end of the first two periods of play. Freshman
Sofia Diaz Alvarez and Junior
Jacqui Sjogren led the offensive effort with four goals each, respectively.
Senior
Erica Hardy registered a hat trick while freshman Philippa Nash, sophomore
Malia Josephson and sophomore
Savannah Henshaw contributed one tally apiece.
Nash dished out three assists while redshirt junior
Kristy Donkin, Hardy and Henshaw each were credited two assists, respectively. Sjogren drew four exclusions in the win while sophomore
Katherine Campbell blocked six shots.
Wagner 14, San Jose State 12:
The Green & White led 6-4 at the end of the first half and then further extended the lead to 12-8 at the end of the third quarter.
Diaz Alvarez, Josephson and sophomore
Daisy Nankervis each scored hat tricks. Sjogren, Henshaw, Donkin, Nash and Hardy each found the back of the net once apiece in helping the Seahawks extend their win streak to three.
Campbell made seven saves and grabbed one steal in the victory.
