Bronx, NY – The Wagner men's water polo team will make the short trip to the Bronx to tangle with the No. 16 Fordham Rams on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT WAGNER...
Wagner is looking to bounce back after going 0-4 this past weekend at the Harvard Invite. During their time in the Boston, senior co-captain Matthew Miller and freshman Olivér Fodor led the way, tallying seven goals apiece. Defensively, freshman goalkeeper Ethan Zirh stood out for the Seahawks, recording 30 saves, 11 steals, and one assist through the four game stretch.

ALL-TIME AGAINST FORDHAM:
In nine all-time meetings against Iona, dating back to October 13, 2016, the Seahawks are 4-5 against the Rams. Most recently, Wagner fell to Fordham 13-9 on September 22. In three meetings in the Bronx, Wagner is 2-1, most recently defeating the Rams, 10-6, back on November 18, 2018.

ABOUT NO. 16 FORDHAM:
The Rams are coming into Wednesday's matchup donning an overall record of 16-5 and a 4-2 record in Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) action. Fordham is 7-3 over their last ten matches and have averaged close to 12 goals a game. Excluding their most recent loss to Navy, 15-12 on October 19, all of Fordham's losses have come at the hands of Top-20 programs, including No. 2 UCLA 15-3 in their season opener and 19-5 to No. 9 UC-San Diego in the Gary Troyer Tournament.

Offensively, Fordham is led by senior driver Jake Miller-Tolt, who is the team's leading shot taker (146), goal scorer (86) and assists (42). In Fordham's most recent game, an 11-10 win over No. 18 Princeton on Saturday, Miller-Tolt notched seven goals in the victory.

In goal, the Rams rely on their 6'8" sophomore goalkeeper Bailey O'Mara, as he has recorded 211 saves, while allowing 188 goals, for a 53% save percentage. He has also recorded 30 steals, as well as seven assists.

Following their matchup with Wagner, Fordham will host the Iona Gaels on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR WAGNER:
Following their midweek matchup with Fordham, the Green & White will travel to Philadelphia, PA on Friday, November 1 for a matchup with La Salle. Wagner defeated the Explorers 15-12 in their first meeting this season on September 28.
