Princeton, NJ – The Wagner men's water polo team (5-5 overall; 2-0 MAWPC) fell to No. 12 Princeton 9-6 on Wednesday night.

With the first goal of the game for either team, sophomore driver Jasmin Kolasinac surpassed former player and current assistant coach Ciaran Wolohan's previous mark of 117 career goals, becoming the first ever Seahawk to amass 118 goals in just his second season.

The Green & White led the Tigers after the first eight minutes of play as junior driver Oscar Nomura put the Seahawks up by one at 2-1.

In the second stanza, Princeton held Wagner scoreless, and was able to find the back of the net four times, holding a 5-2 lead at the end of the first half.

Senior driver Teo Dadic tallied two goals for the Green & White in the third quarter as the Tigers notched one more goal, allowing the Seahawks to move within two goals, 6-4, entering into the fourth and final period.

Two more fourth quarter goals from Dadic would not be enough to cap the Tigers, as two goals from Princeton's Casey Conrad and one from Matt Payne would seal the deal and the win at 9-6 in favor of the Tigers.

Despite the loss, senior goalie Cameron Woldt blocked seven shots on goal. Kolasinac and Dadic contributed not only on the offensive end of the pool, but also defensively as they grabbed five and three steals, respectively.

Wagner is back in action at home on Saturday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Spiro Sports Center as they take on No. 18 George Washington University.
