Lewisburg, PA – The Wagner men's water polo team picked up its first conference victory on Saturday morning with a 13-4 defeat over Fordham University.
The Seahawks came out firing on all cylinders to begin the first quarter, scoring five goals to Fordham's zero.
Senior driver
Teo Dadic found the back of the net three times in the first quarter alone, securing a hat trick. Sophomore driver
Jasmin Kolasinac registered two goals of his own, helping the Green & White to a 5-0 lead after the first eight minutes of play.
The Rams were able to score two goals in the second period while Kolasinac added his third goal of the game and the lone Seahawk goal of the second quarter.
In the third quarter, Wagner outscored Fordham 4-0 as junior utility
Lachlan Trabinger scored two goals while sophomore lefty
Jack Leighton and Kolasinac added one goal apiece.
Three more Seahawk goals in the fourth and final quarter from Dadic, as well as junior driver
Matthew Miller and senior utility
Devin O'Donnell who each added one goal, respectively.
Tomorrow, on Sunday, September 16, the Green & White will take on Navy at 11:00 a.m. before competing against La Salle at 3:30 p.m.
