Queens, NY – On the second of three straight days of non-conference competition, the Wagner College softball team fell to Big East member St. John's by a score of 11-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 12-24 on the year, while the Red Storm improves to 16-21 this season.
The Seahawks got on the board in the top of the fifth. After a one-out single by senior

Zoe Bender loaded the bases with a base hit up the middle.

Hannah Lewis singled in two runs with back-to-back base hits to give the Seahawks their first runs of the contest.
The Red Storm scored four runs in the first, one in the second and three runs apiece in the third and fourth inning and were led by Kalei Sorensen's three RBIs on the afternoon.

Morgan Brown suffered the loss in the circle and snapped her streak of eight consecutive complete games, while sophomore
Amelia Van Orman and junior
Ciera Luna came on in relief.
