Staten Island, NY – The Wagner men's tennis team earned a 5-2 Northeast Conference (NEC) victory on Wednesday over the visiting Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers at the Wagner Tennis Courts.

With the win, the Seahawks improve to 10-8 overall and remain undefeated in conference matches, upping its record to 4-0. The Mountaineers fall to 6-11 on the season and 2-3 in league contests.

The Green & White were victorious in two of three doubles matches, earning the first point in the overall match. Sophomore Dylan Walters and junior Eric Poland got past Jean Armstrong and Gabriel Santos, 6-1, at No. 2.

The Mount rallied back at No. 1 doubles as the pairing of Jackson Wood and Brandon Wortkotter bested juniors Anatoliy Lashkul and Dale Sandy, 6-3, to even the match at 1-1.
