New Rochelle, NY – The Wagner women's water polo team added two more wins to its successful weekend, downing host Iona 15-6 before beating Villanova 24-7 on Sunday.
With today's sweep, the Green & White extends its winning streak to seven in improving to 15-6 overall and 7-0 in Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play.
Wagner 15 Iona 6:
Wagner was an offensive force throughout with seven different Seahawks registering goals, five of whom notched two or more. The Green & White led the Gaels for all 32 minutes of play, defeating Iona by a nine, 15-6.

Kimberly Watson led the way with five goals, one steal, and three drawn exclusions. Junior attack

Franciska Milo-Sidlo and freshman utility
Daisy Nankervis each found the back of the net twice apiece. Senior attack

Kristy Donkin added one score each, as Donkin also contributed five assists in the victory.

Katherine Campbell compiled 11 blocks and added one steal and one assist.
Wagner 24 Villanova 7:
In the second matchup of the day, the Seahawks continued to pour in goals, as Watson led with a season-high eight goals along with two steals and two assists. Hardy, Nankervis, and sophomore attack
Jacqui Sjogren all netted hat tricks.
Donkin and Milo-Sidlo each found the back of the net twice while junior attack

Allison Long and
Erin Weisert contributed one goal apiece. Donkin and Hardy dished out four assists each as senior attack
Lacey Anderson dished out three of her own and grabbed four steals.
Campbell totaled nine saves, three steals, and one assist in the win.
The Seahawks are back in action on April 7-8 as they travel upstate to Poughkeepsie, NY to take on Virginia Military Institute, Siena, and La Salle.
