Bronx, NY – The Wagner men's water polo team (18-14) defeated host Fordham 10-6 for a third place finish to conclude the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Tournament as well as the 2018 campaign on Sunday afternoon.
The first stanza was close between the two teams, as the Serbian duo of sophomore driver
Jasmin Kolasinac and freshman utility
Vuk Bulajic notched the first two goals for the Green & White as the Rams found the back of the net once after eight minutes of play.
The Seahawks began to make an offense run to open the second period off goals from senior utility
Devin O'Donnell and Kolasinac with the help of an assist apiece from junior driver
Matthew Miller and Bulajic.
At the halfway mark, Wagner led Fordham 4-1, as the Green & White held the Rams scoreless in the second period.
The third stanza included four Seahawk tallies, as well as three consecutive assists from sophomore lefty
Jack Leighton who aided the offensive push.
Two goals from O'Donnell as well as one more apiece from Kolasinac and Bulajic gave the Green & White an 8-3 lead after three quarters.
Leighton kick started the fourth and final period with a dish for his fourth assist of the game to junior utility
Lachlan Trabinger who found the back of the net.
The Rams of Fordham were able to score three goals in the fourth before O'Donnell threw a long pass to Kolasinac to add the final tally of the game and propelled the Seahawks to a 10-6 victory.

Cameron Woldt had a strong defensive performance making 14 saves. Kolasinac was named First Team All-Tournament after scoring 14 times in three games.
