Staten Island, NY - The Wagner men's water polo team (14-12; 6-3 MAWPC) downed the Explorers on Sunday afternoon with a final count of 21-10, advancing its win streak to four consecutive.
The Green & White offense began firing early, jumping to a 6-0 lead early in the first period, on goals from senior utility
Devin O'Donnell (1), sophomore lefty
Jack Leighton (2), sophomore driver
Jasmin Kolasinac (1), senior driver
Teo Dadic (1), and junior utility
Lachlan Trabinger (1).
La Salle's Daniel Domotor answered after six straight Seahawk tallies with one of his own to get the Explorers on the board before the horn sounded to conclude the first stanza.
Kolasinac opened the second period with back to back goals, the first of which just 40 seconds in, giving Wagner an 8-1 advantage. However, the Explorers answered, tallying their second goal of the game.
Sophomore 2M
András Bimbó-Szuhai found the back of the net moments after, followed by a goal from sophomore driver
Jordi Alonso. Sophomore driver
Kaelin Wolf notched his first goal of the season just minutes after Alonso, as the score was 11-2 at the end of 16 minutes.
To start the second half, O'Donnell tallied his second followed by another from Kolasinac and a second from Wolf, setting the score at 14-2.
Junior driver
Matthew Miller registered his first goal of the game with just under four minutes to play in the third period. La Salle was able to sneak two more past senior goalie
Cameron Woldt.

Oscar Nomura helped the Seahawks find the back of the net once again, which was then answered by an Explorer goal.
Kolasinac scored his fourth goal of the afternoon followed by senior driver
Cole Grady's first before the conclusion of the third quarter with the score set at 18-5.
The fourth and final stanza included goals from O'Donnell (2), junior utility
Mike Ward (1) and five from the Explorers, with the final score in favor of the Green & White 21-10. Woldt blocked seven shots in the win for the Green & White.
Wagner is back in action on November 3-4 as they conclude the regular season taking on Navy, Johns Hopkins and George Washington.
